Patricia “Pat” Hesselgrave passed away at home on November 14, 2018, exactly a month after her husband and soulmate, Mike, passed.
Pat was born and raised in Indianapolis, in the Italian district, near Fountain Square. She was a very private person, whose main focus in life was her family, love for her animals, her passion for music, and spending time at home.
Pat is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Brooks and Kathy Hesselgrave; and her 4 cats, who she thought of as family. She was preceded in death by her soulmate, Michael Hesselgrave; and her parents, Frank Jardina and Bonnie Mink.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, November 19 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel. Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
Tammy and Kathy wish to extend their gratitude to the Community North Hospice team for their support in her final days. Also, to our extended family and friends for your loving support.
An old friend says
A sun sets on Earth, but rises in heaven. Sing with those angels, girl, and make them laugh. May you and your dear Mike rest in the sweetest peace in the arms of God until the very end of time itself. Love you forever and ever, my dear old friend. God bless your soul.
Tammy Brooks says
Mom,
You will always be my best friend and I thank God every day for each day we had together! I will continue to talk to you every day for the rest of my life! I know you are with Dad again and all our loved ones and gathered all our fur babies at the Rainbow Bridge. I imagine how peaceful you are all now. You and Dad will now be our guardian angels and I will smile knowing you still have me and Kathy’s backs for the rest of our days. I love you, I miss you and until we see each other again someday, thank you for being my Mom! God bless you!!!!!

Girls…
Prayers, food and happy days are what we have to remember our dearly departed. May the love of old and new friends comfort you both during these difficult times, my most heartfelt condolences.
